We are delighted that the retiring collection at our 'Opera Gala' concert on 26 October raised the terrific sum of £690 for Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care! 

Big thanks to the charity's chief executive and choir member Sarah Church for making such an effective appeal at half time, describing the vital work Phyllis Tuckwell carries out. And many thanks, too, to the members of the audience and choir members who donated so generously.

This brings the total we have raised for charity at our events since our concert programme restarted after the pandemic in October 2021 to over £13,000, and since proper records began in November 2015, to over £24,600! 

The retiring collection at our next concert, on 6 December in St Thomas-on-The Bourne Church, will be in aid of Lunch Bags for Children.
