Waverley Singers

The historic wooden church was wonderful to behold, but offered a somewhat challenging venue for a concert on a busy Saturday afternoon with a very dry acoustic and a constant flow of tourists!
Underneath the huge organ at the back of the nave we had our backs to the diminutive figure of our 12-year old soloist in the Pie Jesu, Lilou Antoine - who seemed completely unfazed by the occasion!
Our wonderful organist was Fanny Cousseau, who dashed off after the concert to play at a wedding in Paris before rejoining us in Lisieux the following afternoon!
